Do You Know This Flower?
DO YOU KNOW THIS FLOWER?
I am desperately trying to find out what the heck this flower is?! It is soooooo pretty & lovely. And…. I want it! I want it in my garden.
But I have no idea whatsoever as to its name, what conditions it needs to survive or where I can buy it!
If ever you should find out please… put me out of my misery & let me know… Or better still…. Send me one!

Ok, so I got it wrong with the agapanthus, but I THINK I’m right in saying it’s actually a member of the onion family and it’s called…….drumroll please……………an ALLIUM!!(not sure if it’s one L or 2) but that’s what it is alright. So….when you buy one and get it growing……do I get piece? Actually, this plant is a bulb, so you can’t actully take cuttings as such, you need to let the plant grow a bit and seperate off a small bulb, just like you would ‘split’ daffodils etc.
So there you go, kiddo, mother strikes again!!!!!
And yes, everybody, the garden IS gorgeous and they HAVE done a huge amount of work and YES it is worth it!!

Well Mother Dearest you are very much correct. I Wikipedia-ed it & it turns out it is Alium Aflatunense. And you are right. It is from the onion family. Aren’t you just the well of wisdom!
